One of the first things we tell people in any kind of counseling situation is to make two lists: “Things I can do something about” and “Things I can’t do anything about”. Then take that second list and give that up to God. I’m not saying don’t care about it, or think about it. But you have to give that desire up to God, or it will eat away at you.
